Gail is known for her insightful, intuitive and knowledgable work as an adjudicator. Whether adjudicating voice classes or choral classes, Gail has the ability to connect with the singers, focusing on their strengths and providing valuable feedback.
Gail is resident adjudicator at the Fraser Valley Kiwanis Festival in Langley, BC and has adjudicated at many festivals throughout British Columbia, including Vancouver Kiwanis Festival, Cariboo Music Festival, Prince George and District Music Festival, Whistler Music Festival, Sun Peaks Music Festival, Quesnel Music Festival, 100 Mile House Music Festival, in addition to many other local festivals.
As a conductor, Gail is known for her never-ending energy and her ability to teach singers about their vocal instrument within the choral context. Whether conducting Renaissance and Baroque Music, Gospel Music, Oratorio or Contemporary Music, Gail takes singers far beyond the foundation of a solid vocal and musical technique with her special ability to combine technique, text and music, thus bringing the singers into an "other-worldly" experience of artistry and joy.
Gail keeps a busy schedule, with invitations to conduct community, church, high school choirs as well as honour choirs and mass choirs. The intensity of rehearsal is always balanced with the joy of singing and a good dose of Gail's rehearsal humour.
